





Travel-pack.co.uk is a self promotional project to prove a proof of concept. The case study is that 'you do as I do' and 'not what I say', customer confidence is key to success. By showing the travel pack traffic results to my customers I can prove to them that I can do what I say when it comes to online marketing and specifically Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

The site was designed with the sole purpose of attracting traffic and creating revenue initially through Contextual and Affiliate ads and the later CPM advertising. The site has a sallow three level information architecture with a massive amount of inbound, cross and outbound links. The keyword strategy has been to develop a solid long keyword strategy then to consolidate and move into upon the more competitive keys.

The initial results have been fantastic from a traffic perspective; the pages were quickly picked up and indexed by Google, MSN and Yahoo. All the traffic visiting the site is coming from search referrals and growing daily. The one disappointment has been the current Return On Investment (ROI); this is specifically because of the page placement of the Google Adsense contextual links.
The page layout has been re-engineered into a new wire frame and this next step in the project also changes the overall structure of each country's content and keyword strategy. I am looking to increase the site traffic by 100% over the next 6 months.
