The St Cross Church website had been produced back in 2000 and a re–design of the site was required. The look of the site was to be professional with the aim at showcasing the services they offer to the community.
Once the requirements had been captured and the initial concept designs completed it became clear that a simple content management system was required to manage the website. XHTML templates were created in Adobe Dreamweaver 8.0 and then broken down into the most generic areas as to allow easy editing through Contribute content management tool. The site was designed to appeal to a wide user audience, key areas through out the site were allocate a ‘Call–to–Action’ status for the key services they wanted to bring to the site viewers attention.
