Aquilo is the Roman god of the north wind and was chosen because of the northern tie. The logo was to use the theme of the north and wind within its design.
Aquilo PLC has multiple parts to its business that operate autonomously in there business sectors, it was a requirement that a consistent brand be used across each part of the business with a subtle difference.
The resulting logo combined a single icon, which features a wing element. The icon was reused across the other parts of the business with a change to the colour so as to give each part of the business its own identity.
Employees and clients of Aquilo PLC were introduced to a consistent brand, that seamlessly worked across all parts of the business.
