Welcome from St Cross Church Knutsford

All are welcome at the Anglican parish church of St Cross Knutsford in the Diocese of Chester. We believe that God's love is unconditional and inclusive and we hope that people experience something of this in our community.

Our worship centres around the Eucharist, we have activities for children and young people and social events for all.

At the moment, a group for children aged 3-10 meets on the last Sunday of the month at 4pm. This group is called Faith @ 4 and there are stories, prayers, worskhops, singing and fun! If you would like a child to come to this club please contact the vicar or the Parish Administrator.

For children who come with their parents to church, there is a children's corner equipped with books and activities to keep small ones amused during the service. We welome children to our worship and allow them to worship in their own way.

St Cross has a policy of including children in communion, provided this is agreed with the parents and they have been baptised and had some instruction. Otherwise the children come to the communion rail to receive a blessing. To discuss this possibility for your child, please contact the vicar.

After the main service at 10 am coffee is served and people gather in fellowship and friendship.

Following a Baptism, families are invited to the all age worship to receive the Baptism certificate and a candle for their child and they are greeted and welcomed into God's family by the congregation.

This is just a taster, there is so much more to St Cross. We hope to add to the web site soon and include some photographs. Do visit us again. We hope you will bear with us as the site is being developed.
